All speakers at the conference are required to register and submit abstracts for approval and technical papers for inclusion into conference proceedings. The abstracts will be evaluated for their contents and originalities by an abstracts committee and the lead authors will be notified of their acceptance within two (2) weeks of submissions. An abstract must contain a brief summary stating the objective(s) and conclusion (s) of the work, and follow with the methods employed to reach the conclusion(s). The abstracts of keynote and lecture presentations will be posted on the conference webpage and require a different submission procedure from the regular abstracts.
Keynote and Lecture Abstracts: The keynote and lecture abstracts should contain between 1200 and 1500 words without counting the abstract title and author names and their affiliations, and include the citations of no more than 5 references. In addition, only one (1) figure is allowed and its size must be 500x550 pixels. A brief caption (less than 200 words) will describe the figure. The abstract text, including the figure caption, must be submitted through this SUBMIT ABSTRACT form, and the figure image in jpg format must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, stating in the Subject “Figure for Resilience and Sustainability Conference 2018” and including as text the title of the submitted abstract, authors, and figure caption .
Regular Abstracts: Regular abstracts must contain between 400 and 500 words without counting the abstract title and author names and their affiliations, may contain the citations of no more than 3 references, no figures, and must be submitted through this SUBMIT ABSTRACT form.
The technical papers based on the accepted abstracts will be submitted by following the instructions in the SUBMIT PAPER form of conference website and will be published in conference proceedings.
